The software can optimize the hard drive and registry and it can perform other quick actions, to make your computer run faster and smoother.

Innovative System Optimizer is not free, but its trial version is fully functional for 20 days. Its setup file is roughly 7.3 MB and the installation process is straightforward and fast. The software can be used on Windows 7, Vista and XP, but certain features are not available for 64-bit operating systems yet.

When launched, Innovative System Optimizer will display a clean and simple home screen, from which you can access various utilities, on separate windows. The available tools can be found in a series of collapsible menus, on the right side of the main window. The software includes a one-click optimization feature, which can be used to clean and optimize the registry, erase history files, scan the hard drive for errors and defragment the main partition. You can choose to perform all operations or only specific ones, by selecting them on a separate window.

It is also possible to perform the aforementioned operations separately. Thus, you will have more controls at your disposal. For example, if you decide to scan the hard drive, you can target one or more partitions, set the program to scan without fixing anything and to scan the entire drives, including the free space.

You can also find a few miscellaneous tools, for deleting history files, managing startup programs and optimizing the computer's physical memory. The history cleaner can remove any evidence of your web browsing habits, from Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera and NetCaptor. You can also remove history files that were created by the operating system itself or by third party applications. The memory optimizer comes with a set of flexible controls. It lets you decide how much memory you wish to attempt to free up. Additionally, you can set it to optimize the RAM automatically if the memory usage exceeds a certain threshold and make other configurations.
